At ManyShop, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains how to request data deletion and what data will be removed.

Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have backed up any important data before proceeding.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will remove:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile data
  • Instagram Connection Data: Connected Instagram account information and authorization tokens
  • Message Templates: All automated message templates you created
  • Conversation History: Records of automated messages sent through our platform
  • Analytics Data: Your engagement statistics and performance metrics
  • Payment Information: Billing details and transaction history (where legally permissible)
  • Support Communications: Customer service interactions and support tickets

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:

  • Legal Compliance: Data required by law for tax, audit, or regulatory purposes
  • Security Records: Anonymized security logs for fraud prevention
  • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized usage statistics that cannot identify you
  • Financial Records: Transaction records required for accounting (personal identifiers removed)

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: Self-Service Deletion

  1. Log into your ManyShop account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Select "Privacy & Data"
  4. Click "Delete My Account"
  5. Follow the confirmation steps

Processing Time: Immediate for most data, up to 30 days for complete deletion

Method 2: Email Request

Send an email to:

Include the following information:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Instagram username (if connected)
  • Reason for deletion (optional)

Processing Time: Up to 30 days from verification

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity:

  • We may send a verification email to your registered email address
  • You may need to provide additional information to confirm account ownership
  • For security reasons, we cannot process deletion requests from unverified sources

Third-Party Data

Please note that ManyShop can only delete data within our systems. Data that may exist in third-party systems:

  • Instagram/Meta: Messages sent through Instagram remain in Instagram's systems
  • Payment Processors: Transaction records may be retained by payment providers
  • Analytics Services: Anonymized data in third-party analytics platforms

You may need to contact these services directly to request deletion of data in their systems.

Alternatives to Full Deletion

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider these alternatives:

  • Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account while retaining data
  • Data Export: Download a copy of your data before deletion
  • Selective Deletion: Remove specific data categories while keeping your account
  • Privacy Settings: Adjust privacy settings to limit data collection
